We love this new interview we came across – DP/30 chats with Jennifer Lawrence for 30 MINUTES(!) at the Toronto International Film Festival. After talking about tabloid rumors and doing press (vs shooting arrows), Jennifer talks about her film Silver Linings Playbook, her career, fame, being a role model to young girls, her friends and family keeping her in line, looking herself up on the internet and more.
There are a couple mentions of The Hunger Games franchise, including:
- 10:27 – She talks about Lionsgate discussing the Catching Fire director change with her, calling Francis Lawrence a “brilliant choice … such a great director.”
- 27:37 – She talks about returning to work on Catching Fire, saying that she already “did one scene where I wasn’t talking,” joking that she “nailed” the scene. (The scene must have been shot before production officially began the following Monday)
We could honestly watch hours of interviews with Jennifer – she’s always so funny and candid. We definitely recommend setting aside half an hour to watch this one!
